Bridging Gaps Outreach Services Inc. (BGOS) is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization, that was founded and established by Mrs. Donna Suttles. Prior to starting the organization, Mrs. Suttles came across one particular experience that sparked her desire to help those who are underserved in her community. While running a daycare, she noticed a little boy was walking around the facility with toilet paper in his sock to fill the hole that was in his shoe. The little boy insisted he was okay and he could fix it. The hole was the size of a fist. Mrs. Donna Suttles felt hurt, she couldn't believe that people still had to live like this. This encounter sparked her to lead an initiative called Brandon's Closet (named after her deceased nephew), where people can get underclothes, t-shirts, chapstick, and more. This was in South Carolina. Once she relocated to Maryland, her passion to continue to help the youth is what led to the existence of our organization today.
